JOHN BUTLER NOW LICENSED TO TEACH GIL BOYNE'S TRAINING PROGRAM;
BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS:
Dr. John Butler has been teaching medical psychology and medical neuroscience in several major universities since 1994.
He has been practicing and teaching hypnotherapy in London, England since 1979. For more than twenty years he has continued to train and study with the celebrated American hypnotherapist, Gil Boyne.
Dr. Butler currently teaches " Hypnotherapy as a Career" based on
Gil Boyne's seminal work."Transforming Therapy", at his "Hypnotherapy Training Institute of Britain" in London.
He has been instrumental in developing and furthering the profession of hypnotherapy in the UK and has served in regulatory organisations involved in setting training standards for the profession. As guest expert on numerous television programs, he has focused on the use of hypnosis in the treatment of chronic pain and in invasive surgery. Dr. Butler wrote and tutored the first official training in hypnotherapy in the NHS, teaching at the Royal College of Nursing in London. He has contributed to a number of publications on hypnotherapy and complementary therapies and is the author of the popular book, "Secrets of Hypnotherapy".
