Hi all,
I have been reading some books about hypnotism in the past few months and have learned quite a bit of the basic principles from them. I have recently read `igor ledochowski´s - deep trance training manual' and Hypnosis Practioner's manual from Tad James. I have also read some information about the ericksonian methods. but this is all theory. I dont even know if these books are of good quality. So my first question is. Is this reliable information? Do you have any other recommendations to get my information from?
My second and most important question is how to start with practical use of it. In the book of ledochowski is suggested to just start to practice with an volunteering partner. i am ok with doing this for the exercises regarding control of your own feelings and observing your client. But i am a bit anxious about just starting to do try inducing light trances. The problem is I am located in the netherlands and dont know anyone who is practicing serious hypnotherapy. So it is hard to get a serious education in it. The question is: To what point is it ok to try-out the exercises stated in the books without proffesional supervision?
Any of you know any institute or school that teaches the art of hypotherapy in the netherlands?
