Can an emotionally disturbed person be hypnotized?

With a well thought out results based set of sessions that would allow the person in question, to have as much choice as possible in the change work sessions then yes hypnosis could serve as a reasonable choice in helping the person in question.

Well if an emotionally disturbed person can be hypnotized
with the right hypnotist trained in that area would it be beneficial
to hypnotize them?

Hi Zack
Hypnosis is nothing more than language, so as long as the person in question can hear words, hypnosis is real easy, yet saying that there are a number of none verbal inductions as well, so its more like if the person is alive then hypnosis is real easy.
So yes an emotionally disturbed person can be hypnotized.
