Hey!
I just wanted to share my story. I've never believed in hypnotherapy before but now I am a believer.
I recently got divorced. . . I say recently but it was about 3 years ago. I was suffering from depression, lack of motivation and appetite. I went and saw every conventional doctor I could find; PCP, Psychologist, Psychiatrist and I even sought out aroma therapy. After being placed on medication from my psychiatrist I had had enough. One visit to my therapist and he recommended Hypnotherapy and I thought he was crazy. After some research online; i.e: this website I realized that it was popular. I decided to try it on my own. So I reached out to Jim Katsoulis and he helped me out tremendously and I wanted to pass it on.

It helped me with learning to drive. I would alnernate between focusing on relaxation and imagining a positive outcome next time I was going to be in a car. I didn't learn to drive until I was 26 and even just imagining sitting behind the steering wheel made me nervous at first. Now I am trying to get some of the more impressive effects. The session I bough keeps talking about how it is important to avoid thinking about if I am really hypnotized during the session or if what I want to see happen is ever really going to start. Evaluation is for later. Side effects of the session are supposed to include becoming more deeply relaxed and in the moment and present to enjoy regular daily activity. Unless I become a better hypnotic subject first I can't really complain that none of the hypnosis sessions I ever bought gave me the results they promised.

Did he have you do self hypnosis or did he help you in sessions? I am glad it worked out for you and you are feeling better. SEIZE THE DAY! |
