Could it be possible to use hypnosis to help allow the subconscious mind to enter Theta brainwave state? (meditation)
The reason I ask is because its hard for me to relax and what I am trying to do is train my mind to "allow" myself to enter deep relaxation/trance "Theta" brainwaves so I would not have as much resistance as normal when trying to get there.
Also I just better point out: I am not looking to just be in trance and deeply relaxed or in theta for a session and that's it, I am wanting to use hypnosis to make a long standing subconscious suggestion to help me get into deeper brainwaves easier for the future when I try meditate or deeply relax again.
Can anyone throw in any knowledge about this pls. Can it be done? thx.

So you mean once you have entered Theta via hypnosis you can be able to get back into it in the future easier? |

Yes. When a person is in "hypnosis" the theta and beta brain waves are much more prevalent. The "deeper" someone is in hypnosis, the more theta they show.
Brain waves, and hypnotic state, go together.
You're talking about inducing hypnosis in yourself... on your own, or with a hypnotist... then forming an instant induction anchor for depth. It's done all the time. Typically with a hypnotist instructing/teaching it. But, someone on this forum achieved it on their own after a year of diligent work. |
