Hello.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of "Barry Seedman". He's supposed to be an instructor of hypnosis with the Hypnosis Institute of New York.

Ah HypnoDoc....
It says "Internationally renowned" rather than "world" - my mistake.
It is stated on both the infaith and sedonacreativelife listings.
I have never met him and never heard of him. I see so many un-founded claims like this that it has made me prejudice in my opinion.
It may be unfair, but it is just my perspective/opinion. And, I think it is the first thing you and I have disagreed upon? : ) |

Maybe I missed something - or - maybe the original post was changed after your comment: I don't see anything about "world renowned" and even if it did, it was not Mr. Seedman who was posting it. Your reply seems to say he is "hypno hype BS" which seems to be rather unfair since he is not here promoting himself. |

Self-promotion is required in marketing.
When I start seeing "world renowned" and "worlds most sought out" I stop reading.

I do not understand... what is "hypno-hype BS" about someone promoting themselves to the world? I thought that was good business? Anyway...
I am happy to say I studied with Barry Seedman in New York many years ago. I completed my basic and advanced clinical work with him over a period of two years and I have to say he was and is a very competent instructor and Hypnotist. I enjoyed working with him.
It is my understanding that he is now in Arizona but teaches all over the world. I did a quick Google search and found this: http://www.infaith-inc.com/infaith_barry_faculty.htm
