Posted - 01/17/2008 : 3:13:26 PM Hello everybody,
Hope you are all doing well, I'm new to the forum.
Anyway, onto my problem
A few months ago I listened to a hypnosis audio-track(can't remember the name of the guy who was doing the session)that was designed to help you reach your goals and form your future.
After 5-6 minutes I began to feel a little relaxed, then the hypnotist said "Imagine what you would like your future to look like" and I started imagining how I wanted to be etc... after 10 seconds or so I started thinking about all the things that could go wrong and how I not wanted things to be. So I started battling my own thoughts trying to force them away. I know that this is impossible so I had to quit the session.
Is it possible that my worries might have been programmed into my future?

Be well |

Posted - 01/18/2008 : 4:59:13 PM Ok, thx for the help..
If, even though it's unlikely, it's programmed in I can always change my mind...
But I don't think it is since nothing has changed in my thinking except that I'm worrying a little bit about this experience.

Posted - 01/18/2008 : 03:13:06 AM OK it seems you are doing fine, and you are just paying a little extra attention to that experience.. what I suggest is, think about new things. |

Matrixman:
Am I worrying to much about the future? Yes, probably
Is it possible that my worries might have been programmed into my future? as you said, possible yes, likely no
How I used to think about the future before the listening- and how does it compare to after? There's no difference except that I can't get what happened during the session off my mind.

Posted - 01/17/2008 : 6:49:53 PM I don't think you need to worry, too much about the future, as you can always change your mind. is it possible yes- is it likely NO.. Now I will go back to my first question- are you worrying to much about the future? based on your question..
Is it possible that my worries might have been programmed into my future? if you answer this question, then it will tell you the answer. think about how you used to think about the future before the listening- and how does it compare to after? |

Excuse me for my english, it's not my primary language.
I just want to know if the things I thought about during that particular session will be programmed into my future.
i.e. When I was told to imagine my future I was imagining me as a healthy, fit person, but then suddenly an image of me sick, unhealthy popped in to my mind. So I quit the session directly.
Will this image of me be programmed into my subconcious? Maybe it already was? |

Posted - 01/17/2008 : 5:33:44 PM They (fear of failure, fear of success, fear of judgment, who knows) may be programmed there, and if so, they are programmed there by past learning situations.. whatever they may be. Essentially, if they are there, your own mind programmed them to be there. - usually unintentionally.
Because of this, it only makes sense that your mind can re-program and change with the appropriate method(s).
I believe Matrixman was offering a NLP technique in his post.
It will be tough for self-hypnosis audios to get you the results you're looking for. Might look into finding a hypnotist/NLP'r near you.

Alright, run the things I'm worrying about backwards a few times.
I just want to make sure these things haven't been programmed into my subconcious mind? |

Posted - 01/17/2008 : 3:19:45 PM Are you worrying about the future? If so stop that will deal with the whole worrying thing, and just to make sure run anything you are worrying about backwards, over and over, then take a brake and start from where you are, which is now, and plane from here. you could start by feeling good.
