Hello ~ I am a Graduate student doing a class presentation on Milton Erickson. Is there an interactive activity I can do with the class, in pairs, a group or as a whole class that would demonstrate an Erickson technique or his style of therapy?
I am also writing a paper and making a power point presentation on Erickson, I have already purchased some of his books but I would appreciate any suggestions to make it more exciting. ~ Thank You |

Hi Florine
They are many thing's you could do, yet it would depend on your skill level in how well you know Erickson's work, so you could apply the demonstrations in a class presentation setting.
Two books that will give you a lot of ideas and skill based approaches to helping you here would be-
Training Trances by John Overdurf & Julie Silverthorn
Rubin Battino & Thomas South - Ericksonian Approaches - Second Edition (2005)
If I had to choose just (1) out of the two, I would go with "Training Trances"
