Hi there, can anyone give me some advice?
I am newly qualified and have done a handful of PLR' s with great success.
Unfortunately I have one client who I just can't get there.
The first time he pulled himself out of trance (which was unexpected and terrifying!) He was very groggy and confused, he said it was too fast, too dark, too confusing.
So we had another go a week later, This time I tailored the session to be more physical and less fanciful. He is logical and left brained.
Again just as he was about to step into the PLR he held his hands up and opened his eyes. He couldn't see the light, couldn't walk through it.
Any advice where I can proceed with this chap? He has come to me and is obviously interested in PLR.
As a newbie with only a few sessions under my belt I'm looking to improve and help this guy.
Each time he has said that he was with me in the experience right up till the point of seeing the life.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any words of wisdom? |

Many people do not 'see' the experience, but most people expect to see. it is important to let them know the initial connection may be more of a feeling or a knowing. That is how I get most of my information, through feelings and knowing, along with 1-2 still photos.
I have always avoided telling people to see anything. I might say imagine, but not see. people who are visual will see if you suggest they see or if you suggest they imagine. Someone who is not visual, or not very visual like me, often does not respond to what do you see, or see a light. But they can imagine it.
I have started using additional inductions as deepeners with clients, this is very effective. I usually start with the same induction, but if I need another one, I;ll add that after the initial one. A friend of mine calls this stacking inductions.
I also have multiple ways to get them to a past life. If the first one doesn't work, I go on to another one. Lately I have started making it up on the fly, usually when they are having a problem.
Last week I had a client and she was doing well in the first life, but for some reason I just started talking about something completely different than anything I have done before to get her to the 2nd lifetime. before I knew it she was right there.
A few months back I was teaching a Past Life Regression class and one of the students was having trouble getting another student to a past life. I stepped in and ended up doing something I had never done before, and it worked.
The more you do this work the easier it becomes. I find that teaching as well as working with hundreds of clients a year has helped me more than anything. Hello,
Some people just do not believe in Past Life. Is that why this person came to you? If you are trying to get into Past Life to deal with a specific issue perhaps you need to find another way into dealing with the issue. Also some people may have an issue with walking into the light - so many stories abound about people dying and seeing the light or perhaps the person had some early trauma event dealing with bright lights. Time to try another approach - you certainly don't want the person to be pulling themselves out of trace anymore as it may weaken your credibility and the entire process.
