I wasn't able to do Past Life Regression even with the help of a NLP coach because I was being too logical... kept thinking how it could be possible.
He made me walk back and asked me how old I was but I kept saying I don't know. I just felt like I was still in the room and I can't go back...
Anyone else experienced this? How would you get a "logical" person to do Past Life Regression? |

The problem is letting go of the conscious mind so that the memories are able to come through. I spend time getting to know the client before I start a session, then include a talk about what you need to do to be successful with hypnosis as well as what you need to do to be successful with Past Life Regression(PLR).
Sometimes it helps to start with a hypnosis session that is NOT a past life session. In this session the hypnotists might provide a suggestion to allow you to enter trance quickly next time as well as additional suggestions related to a PLR experience.
Some people can be more challenging than others to regress to a past life. I have a variety of ways to guide my clients to a past lifetime, most of them go there the first time, though I have had others who were more challenging, which is why I have the other techniques in my back pocket.
By letting go and entering into a deeper state of hypnosis, you will find that it is possible to recall these memories. You might want to find someone who specializes in PLR, so that they can help you recall the memories.
I have found that some people respond better after the 1st visit, especialy when I teach them self hypnosis and they practice that for several weeks to several months before returning for another session. |

Why would anyone want to do PLR on someone who doesn't believe in it? It would serve no purpose. Time would be more wisely used doing session work on the main issue. |
