Hello,I am new to this site.
Can hypnosis or self hypnosis cure maniaphobia(fear of going insane)?
This fear numbs your body and all you can think of is how you don't wanna become crazy.It seems to take over and one's relaxation is impossible.
I have to take a numerous amount of tranquillizers not to think about it and I'm basically high all day because of that. I am a single mom to 2 beautiful teenage daughters and I need to get myself together.

Although hypnosis is not a cure for anything, since only medical doctors and pork butchers "cure", I can tell you that help can be achieved through the use of hypnosis, but not self administered... Any fear, including the one you ascribe to, can be treated by a skilled practitioner, and the symptoms removed permanantly... The problem arises when you look for that skilled help locally. begin by checking your yellow pages, to see if anyone is listed. If so, ask about affiliation with an association or society, since this usually means they are serious about keeping up their skills, and giving good service to clients. Check online to ensure that they are indeed members, since some will claim membership expecting you not to check. Ask them for the email address. They will have no problem if they are genuine. Cost however, may prove to be a problem, good ones are quite expensive, though they may also be willing to discount in a good cause, or do a trade of some sort. I frequently offered prospective clients the chance for free therapy in exchange for them participating in one of my experiments, since research was my hobby. |
