I just recently got into the whole self hypnosis and trance thing. Just wanted to try and lose some weight so I found couple audio files. I've been listening to one for the last 3 days now I believe. It just seems like nothing is sticking or isn't really working. I know with anything of these methods it takes some time to work or see something come from it. I can get to a good relaxation point to where my breathing is slow or sometimes deep. At one point the other day I did feel like I was falling, but caught myself without opening eyes. Just seems like I'm not getting into even a trance or maybe my mind stays wandering. Oh, are we suppose to have our mind visualize when the person on audio file says to image something? |

Oh, I failed to mention that I start listening to a audio file like right before I go to bed. I'll head to bed maybe 20 minutes before I normally get in it just so I can listen and relax. I'm not that tired when I do start it, but it does seem to relax me enough to where at the end of file I'm ready for sleep. Think I've heard that your eyes will move as a sign maybe of possibly being in a trance state just not sure. I do know that my eyes don't move during this as far as I can remember. To be honest, I don't think I've hit that trance state yet and I'm sure I need more practice. Maybe it's due to my mind trying to wander and not focusing. Any tips or help would be appreciated, but I'll keep practicing and see what happens. |
