I've tried self-hypnosis and while I've been able to achieve some success, I have a very active mind and I have a difficult time focusing on my session and not letting my mind drift into a million different areas like the bills or work, etc. I need either a video/dvd or an audio tape/cd or the name of something to download online (from one of those file sharing sites or something), I'm not rich and can't afford a therapist so I need to go in this direction. Something where a hypnotist will put me under and then once I'm under allow me to make my own hypnotic suggestions. Could someone help me? |

Damien,
Your problem is caused by a fear of loss of control.
Your riches are inside you! The very nature of trance precludes using your intellect to program suggestions while in the hypnotic state of mind. There is a way and a competent hypnotist can teach it to you. Beg or borrow the money and solve this problem.

Hello,
Try reading up a little more about Hypnosis - you can read through the FAQs section here. This may give you a little better understanding of how hypnosis works and what it is you are actually asking for.
Most Hypnosis Professionals that I know are willing to work on a sliding scale for someone who needs their help and asks for it. Not all their clients are rich or have to be. Look in the online list here to see if you can find someone in your area and make a few calls. I think you will find most are willing to help.
If you'd like to try some audio programs - see if any of these fit your needs. There is also a custom program that can be created for your exact area of focus. There is also a fairly new one that will help you to learn self-hypnosis.
