Posted - 03/05/2005 : 01:19:29 AM Someone that I was once in a loving relationship really hurt me. Not all the memories are bad, some are great, but the ones that I have right now are painful. I want to in someway get the memory of this person out of my head, or out of my life. Almost like the Movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" which I saw, but the ending doesn't change my decision. Part of me wants to learn from this experience, but I feel as if that would change me too much or into something that I don't want to be. What can be done?
Thank you. |

Posted - 03/12/2005 : 01:37:33 AM No self respecting practitioner will remove memories, because there is a better way. As Hypnodoc says, experiences are all part of living and growing, and not to be changed. However, the feelings that accompany such memories can indeed be blunted so that they don't hurt as they do now. This is very simple proceedure to a good practitioner, so see one soon. |

Don't be in such a hurry to give up what you have experienced. These up times and down, make us into the people we are. Learn to rise above the lesson you learned and move onward and upward. The good times will be a warm memory in the years ahead and the bad ones will fade as you replace them with even better good ones.
Some of the best love songs, poems and novels were written because of bad experiences. Some of the best Blues songs were sung due to the bad things that have happened to people. These people chose to make the best out of it and move onward. It made them better people - not necessarily wiser - but certainly richer.
What would our lives be like today had these people decided to erase these bad things from their minds? Life without the lows is like a roller coaster that just runs in a straight line, parallel to the ground. Boring...
It takes a few rainy days to make the sunny days look even more beautiful.

Posted - 03/11/2005 : 6:14:17 PM Dear Jay, Yes I agree to tighten up the statues of the law for Hypnotherapy .It is not possible to be created into a monster during Hypnosis. You must want to be create whatever it is being suggested to you for it to be a success. Is this indeed what has been suggested or is it a feeling of the experience. This is a very serious statement you are making. Therefore, please don’t give up by results of one incident. Contact a professional-check listings of qualified Hypnotherapists to help you. Areas of suggestion NGH.NET If any areas are present in your minds that are negative experiences there is help and proven techniques to work. Take responsibility and do your homework with checking out the professional you contract with. If you fail to plan-you plan to fail. Straighten up your back bone and take responsibility for your actions in checking credentials and do see help. Perhaps overall it’s taking responsibility yourself and not blaming others. Best Regards, Crystal |

Posted - 03/05/2005 : 11:31:47 AM I am in the same situation as you, I also have awful memories of people from my past, and I wan't so bad to forget everything about these people. I am serton that I was a victom of hypnotic abuse. The past two years have been a total nightmare. This past year has been the worst time of my life, some how I made some enemies, and they would use hypnosis as a way to controle me. They would hypnotize me and make me do and say things that I would never say or do. I do not think that hypnosis is the way to cure people, It just makes it worse. Being hypnotized against my will to make me in to a monster. I feel strongly that hypnotizim should only be used by qualifide people and should not be used as tool or joke at a party. People are just going to get hurt in the end. thank you. |
