Is it possible to use hypnosis as a means to alleviate depression and/or anxiety. Has anyone had successful results by using either hypnosis conducted by a therapist or self hypnosis. |

Yes. I have seen a hypnotherapist who was also trained as a counselor and I think it was very effective for me.
But the thing to remember is not to give up if the first attempt at hypnotherapy is not successful. You need to keep trying till you find the right therapist and it helps you with your problem.
I also used self recorded Hypnosis Audios which was basically positive self talk in a counseling / friendly manned( they way you would advise your best mate / child) after doing the Relaxation routine and then listening to it in deep relaxed form. I think that was one of the most effective things I have ever done in terms of Self Help. Try out everything. You have nothing to lose. Please share your results with us. Best of Luck |
