Posted - 11/10/2015 : 12:16:37 PM I have a "make you confident" audio, and thought about listening to it daily. I've used it before, and Ive noticed instant change and it actually works. Thing is, I dont want to be dependent on the hypnosis, or become addicted to it. If I listen to it a lot, will I become addicted or dependent on the hypnosis to live my life with a high self-esteem? I want to have a good self esteem without some external hypnosis. |

Posted - 02/15/2016 : 11:48:58 PM I believe why you like listening to it is because it makes you feel good. Since you get pleasure out of hypnosis and notice results, I would expand upon it. You need to get to that place of certainty and knowing that you are confident. Right now you have it most of the time, but you own it. Since you have not achieved that yet, pick another hypnosis process that will give you that certainty of confidence. You want it to become a part of you. |

Posted - 02/02/2016 : 6:45:54 PM How long is it? 30 minutes? 30 minutes of relaxation time is not excessive in a day. It's an addiction if you are missing other obligations in your life. Those things that require a small investment of time but have huge rewards for your emotions are time well spent. You already own the audio, so you aren't spending any more money on it.
Internalising values takes practise. So it does require some reinforcement to be effective. An audio will have a “shelf life” when you have moved your mind to your goal or you find the audio no longer motivates you.
So think of self-hypnosis as a constantly evolving project. As your wants/needs change, so you will change the focus of your self-hypnosis. When you can make your own self hypnosis, you are independent in the process. Audios can be a good starting place to accumulate helpful dialogue.
Lastly, there’s a big difference between confidence and arrogance. Filter and moderate the content to be self-assured but to still be observant of other people’s needs.
