Is there a way of preventing indirect/subliminal hypnosis?
As a highly susceptible person who has been involuntarily subliminally hypnotised on numerous occasions, the idea that a person has to want to be hypnotises is a myth. I am desperate to know if there is any technique to prevent indirect hypnosis. I am now so programmed a simple word is enough to produce a trance state.

Okay I think this needs a new approach, basically subliminal's in audio format are bulls*%t, the brain needs to hear what's being presented, so it can build association's, with out associations there is no meaning, with out meaning there is "context", with out context, there is nothing, they can be no harm. your situation is bull carp, and you need to get out more, consider this, you listen & watch the TV, Radio, Music, watch DVD's maybe play computer/console games, all Full of violence in one form or another, killings, rape, war, etc, day in day out, and have for years and years, now I assume, you don't go out killing people,or raping people, and are what would be called a normal healthy human being,(?) now all that is a direct in your face set of associations, that we all have to deal and live with,now if we can cope and deal with that, then subliminal suggestions are not going to carry over.

I have been looking at white noise machines. But some sites say white noise can be used to mask subliminal audio. wouldn't this just make it easier to be effected by the subliminal audio? |

Get a white noise machine, or, simply a fan in the room. If there is sublimal audio, the white noise, or fan, can block it out. |

Thanks for the replies. I think learning hypnosis is the only way to overcome this. ~But the subliminal hypnosis has been going on for over a year every single day, to the point that I can barely think, I know it sounds like a bad bond movie, but the subliminal hypnosis is coming from mobile phones wired into the dividing wall on continuous recharge on speaker phone into the flat next to mine. There have been a number of different couples who have lived there so Im dont know which one has done this, but this couple are terrifying they enjoy having control over people, the girlfriend has set up a bulling group of very nasty girls on the interent to continually harass me.. They think it is amusing to put thoughts into my head, at times they do it every few minutes. you will image..., you will think.. they also like using hypnosis to inflict pain you will feel the sensation of cigarettes burning your arm, leg etc..Other times they just play a mp3 down the mobile, usually at night so I cant sleep. I have no prove that this is happening and all my family think it is not possible to subliminally hypnotise a person. Like all bullies they need a response from their victim, but unfortunately with hypnosis they know what they do or say causes a reaction. I think you are right I need to learn it myself to prove to my family this is real, the abuse has got to a level I can no longer cope with, any advise on the best books videos to master this would be most appreciated, also is it possible to record the subliminal hypnosis on something like a Dictaphone as proof. |

One way of preventing this to happen is to learn hypnosis yourself. Especially Covert hypnosis.
If you master hypnosis, you would be able to know if somebody is using you or trying to control you. You then can control yourself not to respond to the one trying to mind control you.

That would suggest your listening to a mp3 or CD, stop listening, if the triggers keep changing, then the associational conditioned reflex would become less and less powerful, and collapse- (brake down), as your be able to notice more and more of the associated state connections, plus your brain has a very clever set of filters, if it suspects, your in harms away it will block anything that it finds self harming. |

What if the commands are subliminal or the trigger words keep changing?
Also how do you stop pain being inflicted whilst in a trance(long story). I want to be able to stop it but I feel powerless. Also can you bring yourself out of a trance when being prevented from moving. Although I can't hear the words, I feel in my subconscious the thought, you can not move, I try to overcome it but my head is unable to think, then when I try to think of moving the thought changes to, you think you can move but you can't. Would self hypnosis help in stopping this? |

Well having some level of awareness of indirect hypnosis would be a good start, through awareness your be able to filter and hear the indirect suggestions being used, and then you will have the faculty of mind to choose if they are useful or not even so you still have the ability to just ignore and to not allow anyone to hypnotize by choose, the simplest way to deal with a one word trigger is to just think of the word, and say in a strong confident voice cancel cancel, cancel and that's end of.
To get some idea of general indirect hypnosis do a google video search and watch a few of the Stephen Brooks BHR training videos, this will give you enough awareness- to start to be able to notice what going on.
