Hi , I took the plunge and went to see s hypontherapist for depression that I experience a lot, which makes me quite ill, stressed, anxiety and anger etc with suicidal thoughts that to date have fought off..... I poured my heart out both st the session and subsequent emails that I sent as to how I was feeling and reacting... to be honest it was a right big dipper for me experiencing highs lows tears nightmares and guilt ...hot cold shakes a whole gamut of feelings and emotions ....I put this down to the outpouring of how i felt and what I discuseed under the three hour theraspy which cost me a fair bit .....The issue now is that having had this output and disclosure of many issues and trauma the objective was that I was hoping to be put back together .... when I went to make the next appointment I was told that she was going away on an unplanned holiday at late notice .... Now this lead me to be on my own trying to get my already confused gead as to what was going on with all the feelings and emotions which led me to panic which led me to have paranoid thoughts as to guilt confusion and anger as if what I had done in seeing her was a bad mistake and was I being brainwashed into changing religion and beliefs as she had at that time started sending me symbols and readings of beleifs I didnt understand ... after a few days this did subside ( it was scary) ... but after a few days I was able to read around side effects of hypnotherapy and then look back and could see this was a reaction to the therapy ,,, I can handle this now I have a btter understanding as to what has gone on .... but now she doesnt answer my calls and emails anymore so I feel in a half way house as I feel I am not complete ... as silly as this sounds ... I feel I have opened up poured it all on the table and now not sure what to do with it all now its there ... I feel a little silly now in going in the first place with all the ridcule coming from within in doing so .... any suggestions what I can do to address what I am feeling and if I should try and see someone else to help me put the bits together .. I also feel odd as to why she has dropped me so quickly ... and feel I am an oddball that this os happened and worried what is being said about me ... as strange as this sounds ... but that is what i feel I have copied all the emails as to what I have said and what the feelings I have in trems of the depression and the trauma I had experienced and discussed with her.. so this is how I can see it all laying on the table , but now what ??

| It looks like I have answered my own question here... she had been quite ill and hadnt been well enough to make contact ...Thanks for looking anyway and hoepfully I am now back on track ...regards |

| it could take a few sessions - good luck and get back if u r concerned but best of all discuss any worries with your therapist in the first place. |
