5.0.2 How does a ZIP file work on a PC?
If you are working with Windows XP or Vista then the ZIP file can be opened with any file explorer window (i.e- My Computer). If you are using an earlier version of windows then you will need an UNZIP ultility program to un-compress the file.
There are many free programs available on the Internet - just do a search for "ZIP UNZIP" in any search engine to find them. The link that follows is for the most common program for this WinZip. Use the free version.
