I am a military member I have fought for my country, to protect the lives of society. I recently went through a divorce because of me being away. I have tried therapy and I just can't see the end to this depression. I procrastinate on everything I need to do, I am so far in debt, I don't know what to do. I lost my home and my children. I am still in their lives I pay child support, but that is so far behind I see no end. I need help I am afraid to make that step on my own. I am looking for any kind of help from relaxation, motivation,self confidence, learning, smoking cessation, weight loss. And anything else that just might help. Now I have seen a military doctor for everything I have addressed, but the key word in that is MILITARY! So if anyone has a suggestion I don't mind. financial security would be a good one to.

Well thank you Matrixman, I am willing for any help necessary. I just want to get my life back together. I want to accomplish all my goals in life. It just seems like I am stuck. So any help would be much appreciated thank you.

I strongly advise you to read a book. It was a book that helped me change my life. It has ways that are different than many others ive read. Then i advise you to start studying Neuro Linguistic Programming. You can see a hundred doctors and therapists. But the best thing to help is to find a way to find the "self image" of your self. Change your own thoughts. That my friend is the one true way.

here i did some research for you:

Mental Freedom Exercise

1. When you have a problem, answer the following questions.
What images come to mind?
Where are they located?
How big are they?
What color?
Are they still images or moving?
Bright or dim?
Are you in them or looking at yourself in them?
What sounds are there?
What do you say to yourself inside your head?
What tone of voice do you use?
What kind of feeling do you get?
Where are the feelings located in your body?
What direction is the feeling moving?
2. Plat around with the qualities of these images, sounds,and feelings.
Make these images smaller, darker,black and white, unfocused and distant.Change the tone of your inner voice
Reverse the direction that the negative feelings go in your body. Then where do they go next? pay attention to the direction it feels like it moves in, and then imagine the feeling going backwards. In the opposite direction. This is called spinning feelings backwards.
3. Write down what you regard as being the "chains" that have held you back til now. Describe what has stopped you from achieving your goals and what would happen if you made your life as wonderful as it can be.
4. Write a paragraph about some beliefs that you have about anything. Then go over the beliefs and replace the word "is" and any other incidences of the verb "tobe" with "it seems like to me". For example, if you wrote in the paragraph, "America is the land of the free," you would rewrite it: "America seems like the land of the free to me."
5. Practice thinking of positive, useful thoughts, what you want to happen in your life, and make the images vivd and vibrant, colorful, and bright, close and real. Speak to yourself in more encouraging and motivating ways. Imagine spinning the nicest feelings through your body over and over again.
